Jagger Firkus Named AMBHL WHL Prospect of the Month

Calgary, Alta. – Jagger Firkus has been named the AMBHL WHL Prospect of the Month for October, 2018. Firkus notched 25 points in his first 10 games including scoring 15 goals. His offensive explosion to start the year has propelled the Lloydminster Fountain Tire Bobcats to an 8-1-1 record and the top spot in the Charger North Division. Outside the AMBHL Firkus was named to the 2nd All-Star Team at the Graham Tuer Tournament where the Bobcats took home the championship beating Martensville 6-5 in overtime.

Firkus has already eclipsed his goal total from last year and is only three points away from moving past his points total from a season ago. The native of Irma Alberta is guiding his team along with defenseman Mazden Leslie who has an impressive 16 points through the first 10 games of the season.
