WHL / Team Alberta Skills Camp runs June 9-11 in Calgary

Calgary, AB – The WHL / Team Alberta Skills Camp gets underway in Calgary this weekend, as 80 of the top players in the 2003-age group gather for the second stage of development in the Team Alberta path towards the Alberta Cup/Canada Winter Games.

The skills-focused weekend provides players with off-ice testing and combine activities, skills sessions, a WHL presentation, and a game for each team to conclude the weekend. Players will gain new insights on skill development and proper training techniques, while learning about the Team Alberta process and the WHL.

The event, which is co-hosted by Hockey Alberta and the Western Hockey League, will see the players divided into teams to play one game each on Sunday.
